After 20 years, the shop located on the Grendel was totally rebuilt. Only five months were needed for the project, from planning start to reopening. Adherence to schedules, commitment, and passion were essential ingredients to successful completion of the project.
A special emphasis was placed on conveying the typically Swiss character that tourists connect with Switzerland. The liberal use of wood – functional or decorative – supports this requirement. Lucerne and the mountains are shown by means of original paper cuts, while hiking trail signposts lead customers through the premises.
